- Does not compact thereby providing good aeration and drainage – ideal for long lasting plants.
Directions For Use
Can be used as a soil improver. When applied to an outdoor seed bed it will give improved emergence.
Sowing Composts - equal parts of Vermiculite and sphagnum peat moss or add 1 part Vermiculite and 2 parts of ready-mixed seed compost, or all-purpose compost.
Potting Mixes - Vermiculite in potting mixes gives a very light open compost, holding more water and facilitate re-wetting, thereby lengthening the time between watering.
Vermiculite is NOT recommended for Azaleas, Rhododendrons and other acid loving plants.
